Something else worth examining more in a home you are buying

This picture shows what is most likely a foundation repair. The difference in the concrete indicates that a trench was dug up around the perimeter of the foundation to install a waterproofing system. Seeing this doesn't necessarily mean you should exclude this home immediately, but it's definitely something worth exploring more to make sure there aren't any present foundation leaks or issues.
